banginbeatsuk
Hi there, im new to the forum and just wondering if anyone can help... one of the bars that I am working in at the moment has a old antari z1500 in the storage. I thought id give it a try and checked it over then pluged it in. When I plug in the machine the pump is constantly on (even before the machine has warmed up) which means that it squirts the liquid everywhere before it has heated up. it does however heat up ok, and the pump seems to work great! just wondering if anyone else has came across this problem before and also if anyone has an idea of what the problem might be.. Many thanks. Matt G
Richard CSL
sounds like the pump triac has gone closed circuit.
banginbeatsuk
Ok that's great thanks. Do you think it's worth replacing the triac fir the pump then? Or would I be better off replacing the whole board? Also is there anywhere you can get/buy the wiring diagrams from for this type of machine? Richard CSL
always change the cheapest component first (triac from CPC/Maplin about one pound). the pump is ok anyway because you say it pumps as soon as power is applied. the triac is the electronic power switch so it seems logical that this is at fault here.again unnecessary to change the board as the rest of it seems to work ok. as for diagrams I suggest asking Antari.
