c.cam108
As the title really, does anyone have a source for barn doors to fit the Quartet F? Had a quick google and usedlighting has two second hand, but that's all. Thanks Colin C
the kid
I was looking for some a while back along with Harmonys. Obviously they are old, and the whole strand existing no longer means they are hens teeth. HOWEVER AC may have a source.. if not fabricators might make some . Thanks Colin C We might have another 2, if any use, not sure though, we got them from a venue clearout and they were on their own, not far from a Quartet manual. PM me an email address, and I'll send pictures up against a ruler.
RoyJ
Dont know if this helps but, they are the same size as prelude F's,it might widen the search.Regards Roy

lightsource
I've dug the barn doors out, and had a good look at them, and I'm fairly sure they are from a Quartet, however I would like a second opinion if possible. One of them was attached to what appears to be the front part of the lantern. http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee233/livesoundandlight/BarnDoor01.jpg http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee233/livesoundandlight/BarnDoor02.jpg http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee233/livesoundandlight/LanternFront01.jpg http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee233/livesoundandlight/LanternFront02.jpg The last picture, this was the PDF reference picture: http://www.strandlighting.com/clientuploads/directory/downloads/Quartet120V_Data.pdf
c.cam108
If they both fit the front then they must be the ones, but I'll wait for someone who owns some to confirm. Colin

handyandi
Look identical to prelude F barndoors. Picked some up ebay a few weeks ago from Stagecraft technical servcies ltd, they were selling of a load of stand gear, worth a call. This topic a year ago may be of help here
boatman
Having access to both Preludes and Quartets, I can confirm that the barn doors and colour frames are interchangeable between the lanterns. Used Lighting did have a supply of brand-new Prelude barn doors and colour frames about a year ago, but they may all be gone now..

Prelude F are certainly a known quantity, and will widen the search as there may well be people with prelude barn doors that are going surplus but dont realise they are the same size. And what has Strand sl's got to do with it?Prelude F were made by Strand!
