Martin Audio CX wedges

Recommended Posts

I have 4 rather battered Martin Audio CX wedges, in there day they did the job but after much use they are now in a state of needing new drivers etc, some lack all top end some have only top end.

I now use Max 15 wedges so these are just sitting doing nothing, I had been told that some people still sought after these speakers so I want to know what they are worth and where it might be best selling them or even if it's worth fixing them up.

Any advice would be good

cheers

Hi Pete,

The components for these were sadly discontinued quite some time ago and its tricky finding bits for them. Sadly it might limit their value a little as its the components that are sought after. However, if you've not already done so, I'd offer them for sale on the speakerplans forum as I know of a few people on there that use them. It may be that they have found a suitable coax replacement for them and they could utilise the boxes and/or some of the components. These were (and still are to be fair) great wedges.
