patapeter Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Hello to everybody : I'm looking for the soundcraft spirit live 4 schematics , I have a problem with one channel that doesn't send pfl signal to headphone and also don't turn on the red led of the pfl nether the same red level for peaking the signal. And if there's any other pfl on any other channel working , when I push this one shortcut every other channels. So any ideas guys ? Cheers , thanks and best regards.Peter.
whisky-zulu Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Here's the link to Soundcraft's own website where the manual can be found; all you should need to do when clicking on the PDF is type in your email address and a password and then you'll be able to download the file to your computer and print as required. Hope it helps.
Brian Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 I *think* I've got a hard-copy set in the store. I'll try to remember to have a look tomorrow.
Sound Man Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 It looks to me like there's an opamp or something on the output thats gone faulty in that its output is short circuited to ground. This would be why when any other PFL button are pressed, the other outputs would be muted when the faulty channels PFL button is pressed. Hope you understand what I'm saying. David

Hi Peter, When did this start happening? and in what situation was the desk in at that time? The Spirit Live 4 is a very old desk!the Schematics arn't availiable any more, I presume you were going to attempt to fix this youself?..Have you tried ringing your local soundcraft distributor?Sound Technology plcLetchworth PointLetchworthSG6 1ND(t) 01462 480000(e) info@soundtech.co.uk(w) http://www.soundtech.co.uk or even ringing Soundcraft Direct? (Switchboard is 01707 6685000 ) If Neither of these work ill ask my dad as to what he may be able to do. RegardsSteve
