Tivoli Phil
Hi All, I'm probably being really thick here, but having checked out CPC and RS I just cant seem to find a male 16A panel mount connector. Anyone know the magic words to search? If it helps its to go onto a 2U panel to make an inlet for a small amp rack, so needs to be fairly small, the wall versions would probably be to big (I think) Cheers, Phil

paulears
this oneis a right angle one, so probably not really what you want - but this one on ebay is the beast, I think!
Tivoli Phil
Ah you wonderful people, I knew I had to be missing the obvious. Many thanks.
adamharman
The CPC wall mounted one Paul linked to is a standard panel mount inlet on a plastic box. Buy one of them, unscrew the bit you want, and it's still cheaper than I've found a panel one anywhere else! The panel sockets from the same range will fit the box, so you get a cut price wall socket as well if you want one!
Yorkie
If you mount a panel plug directly, remember to mount it in the right orientation so that the flap on the cable socket will not cover the unit above/below/catch on the side of the rack
Tivoli Phil
I had wondered if that cpc wall version would be adaptable to fit, and at that price you are right it is currently the front runner. Thanks again everyone.
