daifuse
Hi all, A friend told me about this. Worth a watch very clever indeed. But why o why do people insist on taking flash photos! The same sort of thing happened at our last years panto during the (exclusively) UV scene. :** laughs out loud **: :P B-)

andrewt
And how much did that cost? the countries deeply in the smelly stuff finacialy but can still spend money on fancy video projections and given all the pensioners a block of chesese, what a wonderfull world this is. I guess they think it's important to try to raise people's spirits in ways like this on special occasions rather than everything just being bleak? Think of all the money that would be saved around the world for example if no public decorations were put up this year - but wouldn't that decrease general morale enourmously? Isn't that a huge point of this industry - money is spent to make something more enjoyable for others? That in itself is seen as something worthwhile. Maybe I'm being too naive. Bryson
I'm frankly getting a bit bored of these "projection onto a building" things. Oh look, I can pick out a brick!

kerry davies
You have all just got to come to Wales to see the true insanity of this stuff. Our local council hired a carpenter to renovate and install the Christmas lights. Good carpenter, mind you, but scared of heights.Cardigan went out and spent a fortune on new ones only to discover they were too heavy for the old brackets so they are having a year off.Everyone is shopping online and streets are deserted because of black ice everywhere, still they spend money they haven't got. Madness.

swax
That Dublin one wouldn't have cost THAT much to be honest! The money's in the graphics, and that looked pretty simples to me! Festive though, nice! Agree that the whole 'brick' element is now a bit cliche'd....
Sound In Gloucestershire
is it actually cliche'd now though? Have the general public seen much of this? Or is it just us industry types who are likely to sit through a 5 minute youtube video looking for ideas or new toys in action?
