BP511 Remote Mic Kill

Recommended Posts

Evening all,

Anyone know how to send a mic kill tone from a TecPro v2 Beltpack? There are lots of sites out there saying you can do it with a "combination of buttons", but nobody explaining what that combination is! I've got a couple on hire, but the hire company didn't provide a manual...

If anyone has a PDF manual, that'd be even more awesome.

Ta,

Yeah, had already seen both of them, cheers.

It mentions lots of exciting features which can be enabled with "combinations of buttons" (RMK, Dimming the call/mic lights, locking the mic out) without saying how to do any of them. How irksome.

Ah well, not the end of the world.

If you e-mail Tech Support at Canford they will send you the details: techsupport@canford.co.uk

The web site is in the process of being updated to include the User Manuals.

Regards.

future reference everyone, remote mic kill is awesome:

to do it, make sure your mic is off

rapidly press the call button 3 times, it will flash red for two seconds, whilst is is illuminated, press either of your mic buttons, will disable all mics on the new beltpacks on that ring.

Love it
