norbe
I have a Strand 520i lighting control board. It is currently running Strand OS 2.8.6. Is there an iPhone app or webapp that can control my board, kind of like a wireless system-wide controller? I know there is one for the iPAQ but I am looking for one for the iPhone/iPad. Thanks! Also, is it possible for this board to run any OS newer than 2.8.6?
GridGirl
I don't believe there is an operating system beyond 2.8.6 - certainly I've never seen a Strand running anything higher than that (but if I'm wrong, please correct me!).

jonathanhill
Strand OS 2.8.6 is the latest and last version of the 300/400/500 series of boards, sadly. I would doubt that Strand would develop an iPhone app for the 5X0 boards as they would prefer everyone to buy Pallettes. I guess that you could try writing your own, most likely based on xConnect? J Pearce
There is an iPhone app about that sends out telnet commands from buttons. I believe you can control most of a 300/500 series by telnet.
