Sunlite 'Shape Generator'

Hi Guys,

 

I have been presented with a copy of sunlite suite 1, which I need to programme up for a nightclub. Much of my lighting experience has been on larger consoles such as Avos and Chamsys desks. While I've picked up most of the basics pretty quickly there is one thing that is stumping me.

 

Is there any way of editing a shape to offset the fixtures that doesnt involve programing the shape as a chase of several pan/tilt values?

 

Is there any way of getting the shape to move around the positions I've stored rather than always defaulting to home then running the shape based around the home position??

 

I may just have missed it or it may just not be possible on this version I don't know.

 

I've found the manuals online pretty unhelpful and so have learned most through intuition and button pressing so far.

While I am a (generally pleased…) user of Sunlite Suit 1, I'm not sure there is a quick 'template editing' tool or template feature (if this is what you mean).

I would suggest asking on the Sunlite forum. Some helpful people there.
