gunner
Hi Guys, With panto just around the corner I have been setting up our strand 300 ready for when the macs arrive. Last year the display setting were changed so when selecting a channel with a mac patched to it, it changed the display to list all the attributes, including the 9 added with the shape generator. I have tracker running, so can see most of the attributes on the top half of the screen, with playback and subs on the lower half. Can anyone suggest what settings I need to change to get the full screen showing all attributes when I select the corresponding channel? Dave Hi Dave Its been a long time since I used a 300,try - user setup - live screen layout, see what you come up with. Or try holding down shift key and pressing the live key to toggle the live display.I'm waiting for mine to come back from repair. Brian :)
gareth
To do what you're describing, you need to set the desk up to use two monitors. With the number of screens set to 1, you'll always have levels in the top half and the lower half will be whatever combination of playback, subs and effects you determine in the setup screen. If you set the number of screens to 2, with one monitor connected you can toggle between the two displays by holding the shift button and pressing Last Screen - then you'll get one screen full of levels, and another screen full of playback. Hope that helps.
gunner
Thanks Gareth, I'll give that a go when I get out of rehearsals. Edit to correct spelling
jonathanhill
I think that you may have to turn Tracker Preset to On, not the same thing as Tracking. I may be wrong about though, my 500 memory is getting fuzzy...

He was just asking about expanding it into the bottom half of the screen.

Even if you only have one monitor, you could write a macro to swap screens or change between 1 monitor and 2.
