CHIPS Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 In a school with brand new installation including two Strand Wallracks. Using a Sirius 24 I can only raise 12 outlets on the FOH bar which work fine. Although 4 teachers signed off as "trained" not one of them has the foggiest notion how anything works. I have the advantage of a foggy notion. Downloaded the manual tonight and back to the venue tomorrow to go through sub-menus. If this sounds familiar to anyone don't hesitate for a moment to make me look a fool. Hate sub-men u set-ups in any contraption. mayday mayday
paulears Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 What's the problem? I assume raising 12 is bad? Unless you tell us a bit more about what you have, and what you've already tried - how can we help?
WiLL Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 More info please, it could be something basic such as nothing is plugged into sockets 13-24 or maybe that the connecting DMX cable between the two wallracks is unplugged so that the second rack isn't receiving any DMX from the desk.
phenry Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 I concur, we need a little more information. You say you can bring up 12 circuits, how many circuits do you have in that rack total? Or is the problem you can control one rack, but not the other?

Turns out only 36 of 48 available circuits and turns out the gap is from 13-24 and of course my Sirius does not go above 24 unless soft patched. Happy now with 36 circuits - less happy only 36 15amp outlets - so splitters and tails all over the shop. Thanks to all who responded
paulears Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 You could always repatch the dimmers, so they ignore the unused circuit numbers rather than softpatch the Sirius?
