henryb_y_o_b
Hi, I've got a couple of iColour 4 fixtures on hire for a concert I am doing this saturday. They have the CA-32 colourmix controller with them, and both lights respond as normal to the controller when connected separately. However when I take the DMX output of one into the input of the other (with a terminator on the output), both lights glitch horribly, and do not respond at all to the controller. I have tried altering the master/slave dipswitch configurations as stated in the manual, but this makes no difference. Can anyone help? Thanks!Henry A concurrent post has been automatically merged from this point on. I've actually found that the glitching starts as soon as a cable is plugged into the DMX output of the first light - even before the second is connected. Can anyone help? Thanks! jonhole
Have you tried terminating the DMX line? A concurrent post has been automatically merged from this point on. henryb_y_o_b
Have you tried terminating the DMX line? It's terminated, but no change :-s A concurrent post has been automatically merged from this point on. I've been using microphone cables so far, could this be the problem? Although the lights work perfectly when not daisy chained..

Although the lights work perfectly when not daisy chained..As always with using mic cable instead of DMX cable, it could be the problem. It's definitely worth using real DMX cable to make sure. EDIT: fixed quotations
