dsharp7th
Anyone have or know of a big switch or lever prop for a Xmas lights switch on this Sunday? My favourite is a giant TNT plunger type, but any big switch or lever that can be seen from a distance would be of interest. (It does not need to function as an electrical switch!) One we've used before is not available. Location Coventry, can collect if it's nearby. Many thanks.
Glyn Edwards
I assume you've tried Imagine Theatre www.imaginetheatre.co.uk in Coventry. Failing that it may be worth trying someone like The Abbey Theatre in Nuneaton (contact Ynot on here), they may have something. HTH Glyn Edited to correct dodgy link. Ynot
We did have a lever-type switch we used in panto a couple of years back but having just checked, it was binned after the show I'm afraid.Don't think we have anything else that would do. As it's non-functional, how about knocking up a simple contraption from MDF? Wouldn't take too long...

Sadly lacking in a workshop, tools, materials, and craftsmanship where I work so need to outsource! Hadn't tried Imagine, thanks Glyn, looks like they've come up trumps.
