kennethpaulsharp
Hi Guysquick questionim currently working on a show which is using a number of mac 301s.At one point the cue starts the 301s strobing which starts slowly and then needs to speed up.I did think about just recording point cues and letting them auto follow on but it looks like I may need to manually control the speed. It would be ideal if I could get into the cue then straight away have control of the strobing without having to select my group and go to the strobe encoder.Hope this all makes sense Thanks in advance
niclights
You can set faders to behave as HTP . Store shutter at max value. Set playback to HTP. Manually set shutter back to a start value (most likely open). You should then be able to proportionally control the shutter speed by fader. That's the principle. It's quite possible I've missed out a detail or two...
Leggy
I believe "crossfade IFCB" is the option you are looking for. Leggy.

fraggle
I agree, I'd use a seperate IFCB fader for the strobe rate, be aware that MAC 301s are not the best in the world at strobing. F I believe "crossfade IFCB" is the option you are looking for. Leggy.
