Dodgecaliber
I'm afraid I've got a cheeky wee request to ask the BR! As some of you know I'm involved with a charitable organisation that is trying to restore a large town hall dating back to 1903. The building is in remarkable condition but thanks to the powers that be, it was left to suffer after closing in 2004. It's about to be transferred into the ownership of the organisation and in order to secure it's future, money is needed ! I'm not asking the BR for any money, but what would be appreciated is any form of lighting/sound equipment that can be lent for an evening in late November so the building can be lit to remind the public it's there. I'm trying to arrange it to coincide with the local 'Christmas lights switching on' hosted by the adjacent shopping centre. Power is an issue so any help would be appreciated there too but if anyone has something spare that would help, it would be highly appreciated. Companies and individuals will be thanked by means of advertising in the website and on a number of large banners over the festive period. Any help would be really appreciated. djw1981
In terms of Power, have you considered http://www.apexgenerators.co.uk/contact.php run by the folks who used to run LCH generators before itss' sale to speedy, and being a relatively new and local to North Glasgow company, they may like the publicity opportunities.
