Multiple speakers to 1 amp

IIRC the Pros have a red strip on the badge, and the normal control ones dont, a quick google shows the standards as 50WRMS, the pro 150WRMS, SPL of 89 and 108, slight difference in the freqency response as well, if you go for the standards, CPC are cheaper than the E-bay offering, plus you have the aftercare of a reputable company.

Thomann is delivered from germany (at least my last one was) but returns are easy enough, usually takes about 2 days for standard delivery to get here.

I think I will go for the pros just incase I regret the sound of not getting the higher rated speakers.

Do you know what amp would be best for the pros?

Thanks

Unless the rooms are set out in symetrical ways, then you could simply feed MONO to a couple of amps, and then use the four knobs on the front to set the level in each room. It's a bit odd, because we tend to always think in stereo, but in this case, you could just think knob per area. It's easy to arrange how you do the wiring to cope with the output impedence, and you could just parallel up the left and right outputs of the device providing the music. It's been years since I heard any CD or MD player complain at having this done to it! Just loop this to all the amp inputs and stick a label on the two amps with destination room, and even 'suggested' marks for the knob pointer marks?

I'd keep this as simple as possible - and this does away with switches, extra boxes and I'd guess nobody would even notice it was mono. After all, few people will be sitting exactly the same distance from the speakers, so they'll not be getting stereo anyway!

The spec' sheet says they are a 4ohm speaker that can take 150w continuous.

I would put them with an amp that can deliver 300w (or more) into 4ohms

So the samson servo 300 that was posted earlier would be suitable for this....?
