LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS - AUDREY II WANTED!

I am looking for an Audrey II in the north and I can't find one anywhere! I'm based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, and the closest company I've found online that hires these props out is based in Rochdale (and delivery from there is almost 150% of the cost to hire the plant!)

If anyone knows of any northern companies that deal in theatre props or contact details of anyone who may have one avaliable I would be very grateful!! Alternatively, anyone who knows how to make a decent one...

THANK YOU!!

my contact email address is jenni.wakeman@hotmail.com

PS im looking to put this show on in March 2011!

Where are you performing Little Shop and what budget do you have for the Plants!

Having personally used the A1 Audrey's I would say there definitely better out there but it all comes down to money.

I am based in Newcastle but would suggest you look at Imagine Theatre's plants

Like I say it all comes down to money

The performance will be in March 2011, in one of the halls in Newcastle University. We have a budget of £1000 for plants and set. I think imagine theatre is the company based in Rochdale? The delivery to newcastle is very expensive, as a student society we simply don't have enough money!

Are the A1 stages plants easy to operate?

thanks for your help!

The A1 plants are close enough to go and have a try! As with most Audrey II's, the final plant needs a fairly strong operator.
