cho_drummer
Hi,This one's a bit random, but, it may have been covered before, I wasn't sure what to search. Basically I re-addressed the DMX on a few of my intelligent fixtures. Went into super user, re-patched the DMX for the fixtures saved and exited. For some reason, all the labels on one of my fixture profiles have changed. For example, the dimmer channel comes up as 'colour' and goes from 0-255. The color wheels come up as the beamshape options, etc. (I'm not at work so I can't tell you exactly what each label says). It's workable. The functions are all the same, its just a little confusing with the labels being off. They were right before I re-assigned everything, but I can't see how doing what I did caused this issue.Any help, greatly appriciated. Chris. Kingstech
Hi Chris. I use a fat frog at our school. Is it all of the same fixtures you have selected at one time? The Fat frog labels them by the last one selected - the button thats flashing - so say you had two Mac 250's and 2 mac 500's selected, selecting mac 500's last, it would show the labels for a Mac 500. Select one type of fixture at a time when programming to show the correct labels Hope this helps Callum
cho_drummer
No that's not the issue.I'll be a little more specific. This morning when I wanted to control one of my colour changers (Futurelight PCC-1200) I selected the fixture (mine are on 5-8) then pressed the colour button and I'd have two options, colour 1 and colour 2, which correspond with the colour wheels on my fixture. After I changed the DMX address on the lights and re-patched it in super user the following happens:I select the fixture, I press the colour button, I get two options, gobo and shutter. They still correspond with the colour wheels on my fixture, but it's a little confusing when I'm programming. Brightness is now 'colour' not 'dimmer' etc.As I say, not really a huge issue, but annoying!
Kingstech
Hmm... interesting, seen as you have selected colour, and its showing gobo and shutter which should be in beamshape. Have you tried re-patching them again?

Kingstech
try repatching first, then reassigning fixtures then reset it
