martinkings Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 I have a Scala 1200 follow spot that will turn on, but after about 2 mins will blow turn off and blow my fuseboard. I get a burning smell from the power transformer brick that comes with it. Does anyone know where I could send this to be looked at and repaired?
Ali2580 Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 If you add a location to your profile some members may be able to suggest companies near to you. :D
david.elsbury Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 When you say "I have a followspot".... do you mean you personally have one, or your school that you are a (student/under 18 tech?) at has a followspot? As Ali says, fill in your profile completely, including a date of birth. This is required by the Terms and Conditions you agreed to when you signed up, by the way... If it's your followspot, I'd suggest taking it in for repair, especially if it's making a burning smell. If it's a school followspot, I'd suggest letting a teacher/ head of department know about it and suggest they send it in for repair. If it is a school one... not your problem.
martinkings Posted November 2, 2010 Author Posted November 2, 2010 am in london, so if someone could suggest a decent repair company. I thought about whitelight, but maybe there's a f.a.l. distributor who specialises in them - I couldn't find one online.
paulears Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Why not contact the people you bought it from and ask them - they must get service questions and have an answer?
