mrcog Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Personally I don't think you should be judging their overheads and how their business is run unless you have a set of their accounts sat right infront of you. Yes is it odd that they can run their business hiring lights at such a low price, but it's not our place to judge. It really is a pet hate of mine so apologies that it's a tad off-topic. James
mrjammy83 Posted October 31, 2010 Author Posted October 31, 2010 Once I have received the kit and made full use of it I will report back here with some general feedback of the service. watch this space
mrjammy83 Posted November 28, 2010 Author Posted November 28, 2010 UPDATE The show weeks has been and gone and LIGHT THE WAY provided the equipment I needed for the show. As I said before I'm reporting back on my experience hiring from a company with unbelievably low prices and no real experience of the service The equipment, 8 mac 250 entours, 1 unique hazer 2.1, couple of source 4s, a bunch of cables and distro. The kit arrived in absolutely pristine condition fully flight cased and neatly labelled. The kit worked perfectly and looked brand new and like it was straight out the factory I could not fault the service or the low hire prices. Thanks to John and everyone at LIGHT THE WAY you have set a bench mark that even the Big feller struggle to maintain. I will be back very soon for more kit from you. Cheers guys James
LXbydesign Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 It seems very good!!! Wish id known about the glaciator earlier. I could have had one for 2 weeks rather than one for the same price!! But from London, would the cost in petrol / time still be worth using them........
