power supply for allen and heath sound desk

it seems from past discussion that a selection of people have had problems with their allen and heath rsp11 power supply for their sound desk ml3000 and the like

a lot would choose to have 2, one as a main and one as a standby, and some choose to purchase the purpose built changeover switch/ combiner unit.

I have had some sucess in building a 1u rack mount psu suitable for powering Allen and heath desks. not only is it smaller and lighter and about £200 cheaper than a brand new one, it has a built in changeover switcher for a second psu.

if anyone wanted advice on how to build one, I would be happy to help and advise on where to source parts etc
