BishBashBosh
Dear One and all, I need to use a couple of 700s without leaving a desk connected, bizzare I know! I have tried both focusing them with a desk then unplugging the DMX and doing it maually on the unit. However every time I do this after about 10 minutes they lamp off. Is there any way to stop this happening?! Thank you in advance for any advice you are able to provide!
stuart.thompson
Sounds like you may have a problem with your lamp circuit on the unit. Most likely a thermalling problem. Will they still lamp off even when DMX is connected ? If they do then I would check the thermal cut outs in the head and make sure all the fans are working correctly in the head too. Generally a head cutting out after 10 - 20 mins of lamp on indicates a heat issue on the thermal cut outs.
Brian
Isn't this answered on page 13 of the manual?
BishBashBosh
I think it may simply be the automatic dousing after 15 minutes and not a bigger problem, I hope! Is there a way to stop the automatic 'No DMX for 15 minutes dousing'? Thanks
jonathanhill
Check your Auto Lamp On setting, if it is set to DMX this is probably why it is dousing after 10-15 mins.
