Strand77
Hi can anyone tell me if there is anywhere online or elsewhere where I can get the Regulations for installation of retractable tiered seating. eg seat pitch, width of exits etc. I am in Scotland so I understand there are slight differances from England Thanks
Brian
AFAIK it makes no difference that it's retractable. So you're looking at the 'Yellow Book' (search on here), which is only available in hard copy or some info is in the documents on Fire Risk Assessments. Try finding "TheatresandCinemasfullguide_id1500586.pdf"
ramdram
You have not had your porridge I see...google is your friend, and, in 0.22secs: http://www.google.co.uk/webhp?hl=en&so...13793c5dfdc7bfb www.isrm.co.uk/.../20081029093652BASES%20-%20BLUE%20GUIDE%20Seating.pdf - There is even a mention about Scottish regs, on P12. StevieR
Being based in Scotland ourselves, there are some variations between different council's regulations. As such, I would advise speaking to the relevant council - both their building control and the public safety people. We put in quite a few temporary seating banks ourselves so feel free to PM me for more info. Steve
