back_ache
I have a friend looking for "enormous" fire retardant curtains to be made for her church to keep the drafts out. What company's should she be contacting?
slim_mcslim
gerriets, hall stage, whaleys, mcdougalls are the first names that come to mind, heavyweight curtains will need heavyweight tracks, bear that in mind... any theatrical drape makers should be able to do them... richard
J&C Joel, or JD MacDougal should do it - most theatrical suppliers will also have sources.
zonino
also try http://www.stage-curtains.co.uk/ (should declare that this is run by a friend of mine)
Jivemaster
Wool serge meets the usual theatre specs for fire retardance and there are several treated fabrics that will need reproofing after cleaning. First check that the spec for fire retardance in the building is the same as the standard usually supplied for theatre.
