madorangepanda
Hello, I've just received some triangular truss, it's fairly lightweight stuff and has a slot along one side for curtain rail. It is 30cm centre to centre on the sides, I can take measurements between chords if that helps. It will mainly be used for hanging drapes from, but if I can find out the make then I know the correct loadings. http://img843.imageshack.us/img843/592/02092010069.jpg
Wuddy
Hi, looking at your photo I would suggest that the truss shown is not for hanging drapes but for Eutrac track-light fittings. The profile with the palstic inserts looks like Eutrac 3 cicuit track. Eutrac is a universal track lighting system which will accept a variety of different manufacturers accessories. madorangepanda
Thanks, that got me on the correct track(sorry). It is Litestructures Maxilive 3. I cannot find full specs for it, only for the corresponding maxilite truss.
adamharman
Emailing sales@litestructures.co.uk would seem to be the best option. I'd guess that maxilive has a slightly lower load rating than maxilite due to the open channel in one chord being more likely to buckle in compression, but I'm too tired to get my head around it properly.......
