RoyJ
:) Hi lampies,it may be me having a terminally thick moment,or just my age but does anyone know how to remove barndoors from a patt 814 pebble convex spot. They seem to clip on to the front of the lantern. There is a knob at the bottom above the door but I've tried twisting, pulling and pushing all to no good. Its bound to be something simple,I need to remove the barndoors so I can paint the front.Hope someone can help, thanks Roy
Neil Hampson
If I remember these are the same as the 803/833's. One of the three arms that clip inside the lens housing is spring loaded, there should be two welded ones and one with a bolt with a spring through, it, if they havn't been off in a while you may need to prise a screwdriver under the clip to lift it over the retaining ring on the lantern. undoing the nut is not usualy possible as it will just spin on the bolt.
