duke68012
I recently did the Stage Managment course with the National Youth Theatre and thought I learnt so much. The first week was learning ASM and the second week was learning DSM. We had two backstage tours of professional west end venues and did one night's work placement. After the two weeks you could stay on and put what you learnt into practice working on some of the NYT productions. Well worth it! Moderation: This was originally posted in the Training Courses section of our Commercial forum--but didn't seem right there since that area for announcements of future training. I've moved it in here in case it inspires a discussion of the advantages of participating in the NYT.
