The right sort of cable..

Hi All,

 

I have recently acquired one long lenght of RS components cable 528-2128:( 19 PAIR)

and I was wondering if I would be able to use it as a Jack to Jack multi (UNBALANCED) or COMPS VIDEO.

Would this cable work as that ??

Also any other suggestions if not

No.

 

Multiple balanced audio, maybe. Or a trunk for data connections, or digital audio, probably.

I have a couple of six pair cables of the same construction which I use as a line level multis, and for that purpose it works fine. I've been known to stick mic levels thru it, and it worked for that too, but I'd not be keen on mixing mics and lines in an un-individually-screened multi.
