Gas pyrotechnic courses

I am trying to find out about training courses for gas pyrotachinics. I am interested in using gas as part of a fire show and am not sure what qualifications/certifaicates would be needed? (If any?)

If anybody has any info on gas-pyro training please let me know!

I don't think you will find specific courses which give what you require but it might be worth contacting an expert: http://www.mtfx.com/

I used to do fire theatre and used my tame gas fitter who had CORGI registration. (now Gas-Safe, www.GasSafeRegister.co.uk )

There is quite a lot to it technically and an enormous amount of H&S, environmental safety and public safety involved. Just as a guide take a look at HSG 123 and 124 on fireworks, http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/books/hsg123.htm Though not wholly appropriate they may help to show what they are looking for from both a professional and community standpoint.
