msd 200 instead of a 250?

Just a quick one, Is it ok to put a MSD 200 into a Futurelight MH 660 instead of the MSD 250? I've got a few spare and output isn't to much of a bother for the gig, also, can I clean the lamps with methelated spirt?

 

Any thoughts much appreciated.
