chawes91 Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 hi the company I work for have just brought a outdoor led screen there is going to be times where we will need to show live tv on the screen for example the world cup ? any ideas of how to get the image on to the screen? sometimes we could be in a field in the middle of nowhere
smalljoshua Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Freeview/Freesat box with appropriate aerial/disk mounted high up (on the screen?) and tuned in at every location. There isn't really any "smart" way to do this that I can think of so traditional would seem the way to go. Josh
mi-ul Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Video recorder with analogue tuner for when the freeview box doesn't get enough signal to work!
Pete McCrea Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 As the others have said above - Satellite dish for the free to air channels, and then possibly an aerial for the Digital TV channels. We've got a basic Satellite dish that we picked up from Maplins for one such job, and it's cheap and cheerful, but actually does a decent job. I'd imagine a FreeView box would work with this. We achieved good enough signal at ground level on Wednesday for the England match with the Sat dish. Looked great on our MicroTiles....
