mtts
Hi all blueroomers. On Britains got talent final - Usher performance they were using some 5 x 5 lighting modules, some individuals and some matrixed together. I know I've seen these somewhere (LSI Mag?) but can't remember for the life in me what they are - think they are relatively new but if someone can point me in the right direction and/or knows of any hire companies doing these units I would be very grateful. Many thanks. Mark.

mtts
Jarag? Yes, that looks like the animals. Jarag Par 30. Anyone know of any UK based hire companies doing these - Looking for 6, early September for theatre show Yorkshire area. Digging on Google hasn't really come up with any answers other than PRG mentioned once. Pointers appreciated. Thanks.
Joe Bleasdale
http://www.led-lites.co.uk/Products/LEDGra...80/Default.aspx I think they are a distributor for the Jarag here in the UK. Whilst they may not hire them directly, the could probably put you in touch with people that could. I know Ian Kirby also has an account on here, so hopefully he will pop his head in with some information! Hope this helps,

James Remo
Having toured Jarags for two tours I recommend giving each lamp a twist when rigging as they do twist loose in transit. There is no protection between lamp and triac and all the triacs are smt on one single board. Always turn the unit off before changing lamps, or be prepared to swap out the unit when you take the triac out. If running on generators be aware that if there is voltage drop due to the rather large load coming on and off, the internal clocks of the units are affected and the internal patterns loose sync. They really are biscuit tins, lightweight bordering on flimsy build. For 24 Jarags (600 par 30 lamps!) I toured 30 spare lamps and needed them.My first route would be to give H a call at Coloursound, failing that Siyan have some, I know the Coloursound ones are in very high demand, and I know that some if not all of Siyan's are busy with Hot Chip.
