Korg D3200 and .dbk file extension

Well, long story short, I am having trouble exporting sound files from a Korg D3200 digital recorder to my macbook. The files include a 1.4 gig 16 bit (44.1 khz) file, and the other is 24 bit (48 khz) and stands at about 4.8 gigs.

Now I have two main problems, the first is that the transfer space I have available on the recording station is only 4 gigs, and I can't transfer the larger of the two files to my computer via USB. I need some way to either cut down on the track, or enlarge the transfer space without ruining or deleting what I have.

The second came when I transferred over the smaller of the two files, but found it was a .DBK file, which I found out, after some research, is an outdated database backup file-type. Is there a way to convert a .dbk file to something that a program like Garageband or Audacity will recognize and be able to manipulate?

and in case it helps, the sound files are of two concerts (one jazz, one classical), that I recorded using a spread of 5 mics (one presence, one XY pair, two extreme L/R). I am running leopard (intel chip), on my mac. The recording station we are using was bought new, but in the manual it references Mac OS9 as the latest mac OS.

Any help would be much appreciated

so I tried tinkering around with that, updating my java, messing around with filetypes, etc., and wasn't able to make it work. Its possible that this is a windows-only application. Does anyone happen to know of any other tailored-for-mac applications that do the same thing?
