DMX Decoder IC 75176

Hi Folks,

 

 

Does anyone know where I might obtain any good info. regarding designing circuits using the DMX Decoder IC 75176? Any good books, manuals, etc. for getting started with DMX, as well as the 75176 would be great. As of now, I know very little about either one.

It's not a decoder, just a differential line transceiver. If you google DMX and DIY there are plenty of projects out there.

Just google 75156 and you'll get enough technical info to keep you going for a long time!

Have you seen my DMX LED project that I posted? It uses an Atmel CPU to receive DMX and control some RGB LEDs. There are full schematics and source code if you want to have a play...
