tap dancers

I was hoping to get another opinion here,

when it comes to tap dancing I have always used boundary microphones, maybe line the front of the stage with 91's or something similar.

are there any other DISCREET ways of doing this?

I was thinking a lavallière attached to the leg, but this is going to come with alot of movement noise which could be difficult to squelch out, no?

 

any feedback would be great
