mynameiswolf
Hey all, I have two automated lights that were donated to me. They are from some cheap, no-name company in china. The lights are called Profile 150's. My problem is that when I power them up the two matching lights start on different points on their vertical axis. Right now they are on the floor so I can manually click one of the lights into place to match the other, and then they will match for the remainder of the time. I would like to hang these lights but will no longer be able to go up and force one to match the other. They are running on the same DMX address so they mimic eachother. Is there anyway to make these lights start at the same vertical axis upon reset? thanks for any help you can offer! Wolf
KevinE
If they stay in sync once you've moved one physically, one of them is probably not resetting correctly at switch on, probably a sensor fault. If you're ok dismantling them, give them a hoover out especially around the tilt sensor and encoder area and try again. You may have to dig deeper into the electronics if this doesnt cure it...how good are you at this sort of thing?
Chris Beesley
Have a peek thru the menu settings - some moving heads have options for adjusting the pan/tilt to ensure the home/centre positions match up.
