Sound company in Cardiff

I need a good sound company in Cardiff, I have searched showcase and not one is listed, any suggestions gratefully received. Ideally looking for a small format line array that can be delivered and collected to a Cardiff venue in June to a tight budget. Budgets dictates only a local company could afford to supply the kind of quality kit the show needs.

Stage Sound Services. I have no first-hand experience, being a lampy, but I've heard reasonable things about them, and whenever I've seen their kit appear on shows that I've been doing it's always seemed like decent stuff. No idea what their prices are like, tho.

Stage Sound Services are very good and very reasonable on price - and I'm a Production Manager so I know about these things.

I would like to recommend 'Sonalyst'. I use them for all my tours, as does the promoter I work with, so they will have worked in nearly every venue (worth working in) in the UK !! I've never had a problem with Rory or the guys he sends out on his jobs. They are based in Port Talbot, which is only 40 mins down the road from Cardiff.

Mr Phil Hurley who runs the company is an absolute gentleman and is always helpful and the equipment always in a good condition and as requested.

 

We currently have 3 tours out with his equipment and various hires here in-house as well.
