tommulliner Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Hi There BR! :) I was wondering where you can get the Lee Gel sample packs from for free? I was talking to someone the other day about them as they take one with them when ever they do a show so they know which colours they are going to use. (seems logical!) They were saying that they allways leave them or loose them and so they just get a new one for free, but I dont know where to get them! Any links, past threads much apreciated. Thanks for your help - as usual,Tom.
AndyJones Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 The phrase that you are looking for is "Swatch book".
LXbydesign Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Any lighting company would have them or you could just contact Lee and get them direct. Failing that, get yourself to a tradeshow and pick some up from there.
Andrew C Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Phone Lee? Let them know you are at school, and they may well have more stuff they'd let the school have.
Joe Bleasdale Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 The Lee stand at Plasa is always a good start. I went for a designers book last year and came away with a box of swatch books, posters and a load of other literature. Best Regards,

musht Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Got to ask, are Rosco not also worth contacting for educational materials if you are a school?

I hate to say it Lee while being usefull to give out books they really didn't seem to like doing it for me. ROSCO sent me a load of stuff and Apollo, provided they don't change anything I have enough for about 3 years of students.
tommulliner Posted April 26, 2010 Author Posted April 26, 2010 What kind of items do you mean by; educational materials
paulears Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Well, Lee offer swatchbooks, posters and other useful info - I think Rosco do too.
