etc congo

hi all,

looks like I have to write this way because if I open a new topic no letters appear normally in the text box.

I'm gonna use an Etc congo in a few days, and I wanted to use moving heads like I do with avolites pearl, recording single attributes in mode 2 and controlling them by fader from 0 to 100 and reverse. I didn't manage to do this with congo, someone of you can help?

Moderation: formatting changed - centred text is rather difficult to read!

There's a few answers on the thread on the ETC Community Forum:

One way to record the individual attributes that are required is to MASK out the ones you don't want.

You could also use Record Mode: Changed, which is equivalent to the Pearl method.

- When working in this mode there are "Clear Changed" and "Set Changed" softkeys under the Device softkey to 'knock out' attributes you don't want to record, or knock in attributes you need without touching them.

If you've already got some Presets recorded that contain attributes you don't want, open them in the Preset Attribute Editor with # [Preset] & [Attrib], then [Delete] the attributes you don't want.

Alternatively, you can put the attribute directly onto the fader and use it instead of an encoder - combined with Direct Selects or other Masters to select the fixtures, this is really fast way to busk.
