Aidan
alright all, Right rigging yesterday, turn the macs on, fine. strike the lamp, send them all to home (open white), one of them however was half between pink and cyan? and 'CLER' was flashing on the fixture display. Reseted few times, and it worked.Powered p today, Same Error. Anyone got any clues? xx
david.elsbury
Do you own the fixtures or are they hired? When was the last time they were serviced? Ps, for a clue, look up what "CLER" means in the fixture's manual.

DRG
Think you'll find it's C1ER. That means the colour 1 wheel is out of alignment. This could be caused by several things.First thing I would do is open the case when you reset and check that the colour wheel is not catching on anything (wires etc). Seen this happen many times when a fixture gets older and the little cable ties inside break.Check the sensor wires are correctly plugged in (both ends) and have no obvious signs of damage.Check that the magnet on the colour wheel hasn't fallen off.If not, then is the magnet on the wheel finding the sensor on the reset? You'll know if it's not because the wheel will likely keep spinning round and round before finally giving up and settling on some random slot (fixture will likely take longer than others to home too). If this is the case check that the magnet and sensor pass close enough together, could've got warped. If so adjust. If this doesn't work, (with the power off) Loosen the set-screws on the colour wheel with an allen key (not all the way, just loose). Power on and allow the fixture to home. Manually align the magnet and sensor and tighten the screws. Reset the fixture. If this doesn't work your likely need to replace the sensor, the wires to the sensor, the motor (or less likely) there's a motherboard issue. With power off, check that the color wheels turn freely 360°. Adjust the position along the motor shaft if necessary.2. Loosen the set screws. Tighten one screw on each wheel slightly to fix the position along the shaft.3. Reset the fixture and strike the lamp. Select MAN>COL2 from the control menu. Use the arrow keys to turn colorwheel 2 to a point where you can access a set screw.4. Center the color filter in the light path. The color must be even across the field and there should be no shadowsat the edges.5. Tighten the set screw. Return the color wheel to the open position.6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for color wheel 1.7. Use the control panel to test alignment at a number of positions. When the wheels are aligned, tighten the secondset screw.8. To adjust the sensors, rotate the color wheels to the open position. Position the sensors directly over the magnetsat a distance of 1 - 1.5 mm. The sensors can be moved by carefully moving the ICs.
