Avo Personality Help

Recommended Posts

I have to make an Avo fixture file for two cheap LED lights,

1) LEDJ Colour 24 in 6 channel mode

2) LEDJ Slimline 229

If any one has already made the files for any of these lights could they send them over to me? OR would some one experienced with making these files have a glance over and check the ones that I have doctored, I am mainly concerned about whether I have done the fader banks and the upper or lower bank fader correctly?

E2A: This is for a Pearl Tiger, So I will need to save the files as an .R20?

Looked wrong to me.

I would do:

Colour 24:

2	61 L	3 100 1N O 1 "Shutter" 0 0 0
1 1 H	2 100 1N H 1 "Dimmer" 255 0 0
10	1 L	4 100 1N T 1 "Red" 255 255 0
10 61 L	5 100 1N U 1 "Green" 255 255 0
9	61 L	6 100 1N V 1 "Blue" 255 0 230
8 1 I	1 100 1N 0 1 "Effect" 0 0 0

Slimline:

2	61 L	3 100 1N O 1 "Shutter" 0 0 0
1 1 H	2 100 1N H 1 "Dimmer" 255 0 0
10	1 L	4 100 1N T 1 "Red" 255 255 0
10 61 L	5 100 1N U 1 "Green" 255 255 0
9	61 L	6 100 1N V 1 "Blue" 255 0 230
9 1 L	7 100 1N 0 1 "Amber" 255 0 0
8 1 I	1 100 1N 0 1 "Effect" 0 0 0

These assume that blue and amber were on channels 6/7 respectively since you had them overlapping other attributes in your example. I have not looked at anything other than the channel mappings.

Hello Nic,

The channels were listed in channel order,

So for the colour 24

channel ATT

1 Effect

2 Dimmer

3 Shutter

4 R

5 G

6 B

Does your channel layout reflect this? I have been looking through the Pearl manual and can not get my head around it. I have also searched the BR and linked through to a bit of software, But unfortunately I only have access to a Windows machine. Also would you mind explaining to me what the first two columns mean on the channel allocations?

Regards,

Andy Jones
