Hi , I have a set of 4 martin 812 scanners, one is master 3 are slave , however one of the fixtures is scanning to the right when all others are scanning left and visa /versa .I have downloaded martin manual but no mention of dip settings.. scanner /master is set to program music chase ,rest are all on dip swich 1 on . thanks

Set the dip switches all to auto mode, remove the linking XLR's and turn them all on at the same time, they should all do the same thing does it behave now? The other possibility is that it could be outputing steps for 8 fixtures and if you only have 4 you are seeing half the pattern.

Hi just tried the fixtures with everything removed except the mains plug three all reset to the left and then to center the other resets to the right and then centre . thanks for any help

You might want to check the pan motor connector to the main PCB - it might have been put on back to front which I THINK would cause this. It's either PL14 or PL15

 

Or, of course, at the motor itself. The plugs are supposed to be polarised but with a bit of brute force someone might have reversed it.
