nunny
We had a box containing x4-500 M size steel stock gobos stolen this weekend from an event in Knutsford Cheshire Would any body let me please know if they get offered anything like this, Not only is it a real pain with the cost implication but there is 7 years of gobos in the box! The box is a carrylite 80 ( http://www.federalcomponent.com/images/pro...ite%2080-25.jpg ) Thanks for everyone who looks Mike
DrummerJonny
That sucks mate. Just a thought that popped into my head, assuming the thieving git isn't a lampy, they may not know what Gobos are. So look out for "craft stencils" or similar in your local papers, ebay ect ect.

Sound In Gloucestershire
any further information? Were they actually stolen? Was it an inside job?
nunny
You could say it was an inside job, after a week of hunting high and low everywhere, calling at least 10 third party contractors it turns out one of the young free lancers struggles to identify the difference between a Dewalt drill and a box full of M size gobos. Luckily before the wheels were set in motion of beginning to re-order stock the drill was required and the gobos were located in the work shop! Needless to say a few BIG signs have now been put in place to ensure that under no circumstances does the whole stock box ever go to site! Least they turned up, lots of jeering going towards the freelance! Mike
TheLightsTech
Nice!!! Perhaps some neon Gaff tape and a sharpie to obnoxiously label it GOBOS-- Property of XXXXXXX?
Sound In Gloucestershire
thats a relief, I love a happy ending so does that mean youve lost your drill now? hehe
nunny
there is to be at least 10 labels surrounding the storage area of the gobos almost like a hareem of labelling to make sure it doesnt go out! We have the drill as well, that was on the shelf below, the famous old saying, "pay peanuts............." Mike
