lampyfromliverpool
Hello, I'm trying to find the website for the LED fixture maker 'Lightmaxx'. A thorough google hasn't turned up much apart from youtube reviews and shops with no links to the company. I'm trying to get manuals (specifically for DMX channel listings) so I can write personality files for a number of Lightmaxx LED fixtures. Does anyone know an URL or contact number for this company? You'd be helping a few people out if you did! John
Guest lightnix
Presumably you already found the previous thread on this brand. I don't think there is an actual manufacturer called Lightmaxx - it's just another bit of rebranded Chinese pro-sumer kit, most likely shipped here via Germany. Can you not just hook it up to a desk patched 1-1 and see what faders do what?
lampyfromliverpool
I had found that thread, that's what gave me the idea to post up and see if anyone knew who actually makes these things! I don't have the fixture here with me (I'm the Fixture Support Engineer at Avolites) so I thought I'd see if any proud owners of Lightmaxx products had documentation I could glean a bit more info from... I've been getting my customers to patch their fixtures as dimmers and describe what they see, but I'm getting more and more requests for this company so I was hoping to find 'the source'. Looks like there isn't one at the present moment though.. Thanks for the reply, mucho appreciated!
Guest lightnix
Have you tried contacting the good folk at Pharos Architectural Controls? IIRC they maintain a master list of fixture personalities, which they sell on a subscription basis.
