damobarrowafc
Im having trouble gettin past M on the A-Z list of fixtures, I have 2 x Robe Colourspot 250at Mode 3, and recently one of the 'newbie' technicians reset the whole desk. And therefore deleting the fixtures programmed / patched in. As I cant get past M I cant get the Robe fixtures, does anyone have a floppy disk / file that they could upload onto here or email it to me?Cheers
Russ83
Have you tried the one from the Zero88 website here. The latest fixture library is second from the bottom.
damobarrowafc
Have you tried the one from the Zero88 website here. The latest fixture library is second from the bottom. Yes I've tried that but still get the same problem a while back this happened before and I mate of mine gave me his zero 88 fatfrog floppy disk and that worked but at the moment he is away and not back for a few month so I am un-able to get his disk, ive tried on numourous websites but cant find anything
Russ83
Sounds like the floppy disk might be corrupt, try formatting a new disk in the desk then copying the library onto it. If that doesn't work then here is a fixture file containing only the ColourSpot 250AT in it's four modes.
jamed2017
It does sound like the floppy disk is corrupt. However flopy disks can be quite awkward to find these days so you may want to copy the library on to the disk as normal, then re-insert it into your computer and try to access the library from the disk using the zero 88 fixture editor. If you can access the library fully on the pc and still not on the frog then I would suggest its either your frogs floppy drive or the frogs software. But probably the floppy ....Try a new floppy disk ;)
TomHoward
It's always worth formatting the Floppys in the Frog rather than in the PC before copying, as the Frogs can be a bit temperamental with PC-formatted disks, whereas the PC should be able to read anything formatted in the Frog. I realise this point has been made already but thought it was worth reinforcing.
Russ83
However floppy disks can be quite awkward to find these days....Whilst some retailers no longer stock floppy disks (or VHS tapes for that matter) a quick google or search on Amazon will find you plenty to stock up on. timtheenchanteruk
format a few in the desk, and keep them on one side, especially if you use a USB floppy drive, these seem to be really hit and miss.
Pattern123
Our Frog has stopped reading the disc altogether, and now crashes whenever the disc tries to read, most frustrating when our only fixtures aren't on it! Zero 88 reckoned it could be PSU or Disc drive, I've swapped the disc drive and still same problem, so next going to try someone else's frog PSU and see if that resolves it. Can't help wondering if it's not an issue with the latest fixture library though.
damobarrowafc
Ive tried loads of different floppy disks with the library release on zero 88's website ive also tried it on a different fatfrog alltogether and it still wont go past M. Sounds like the floppy disk might be corrupt, try formatting a new disk in the desk then copying the library onto it. If that doesn't work then here is a fixture file containing only the ColourSpot 250AT in it's four modes. When im next in on tuesday ill try this file to see if that works :** laughs out loud **: Cheers Damo

peter
Are you running the latest version (version 10.12)? There was an issue in a previous version of software which may have given symptoms like this. It would be worth installing the latest software if you are not already running it and trying again. Kind Regards,

boatman
Sorry for the thread necromancy, but all Frog users may be interested in this announcement from Sony two days ago. Time to get a stock of floppy discs.
