Louis sullivan NLS
Hi, just bought a parcan from CPC to replace one of my nakered ones and found it to not have a gel frame with it. it said in the catalogue 'complete with filter frame'. just wondering if anyone else has bought Parcans from CPC and had this Problem. Ynot
If it clearly says in the catalogue that it includes a frame, then it should include a frame. So your first port of call shouldn't be here, it should be CPC customer services. At which point I'm sure they'll arrange to send you the missing frame. emsgeorge
To echo Ynots comments - CPC have some of the best customer services staff, who are only too happy to help (especially considering what a grump I can be on a Monday morning). Give them a call, and they will arrange something for you.
Chris Beesley
Drop me a PM with your account/order details and I will sort this for you... or you could give our customer services a call. Im guessing you have purchased a PAR64 - the filter frames dont fit in the box and we do have the odd one go out without one.
tb1979
I seem to have a habit of raising old threads from the dead at the moment, but I thought I would note here for future readers that I have just had a batch of four PAR 56 floor cans arrive from CPC without gel frames. A batch of six silver ones earlier this week arrived with the gel frames packed separately (ie not inside the packaging for the lanterns). So it seems to be something that can still happen. I've emailed them to query it, and in my experience of CPC's excellent customer service, I'm sure I'll get the missing frames very soon so it's no big deal at all. Just thought I would note it down as information for anyone who might have the same problem in future.
Johnno
I bought four Parcans from CPC last year and everything was present and correct :) but one of the lamps shattered with a mighty bang last month after just a few hours of use :( ... scared the living daylights out of the music teacher when it went :** laughs out loud **:
paulears
As discussed in another thread, yep - they do that occasionally.P
