jamieprank
HiWouldn't normally ask questions on forums but cant get decent answer from anyone!I'm trying to put together a quote for stage and circus lighting for someome who's stage is notoriously un waterproof and exposed and am struggling to find the choice of weatherproof fixtures I need. I'm using some novalight nova flowers and some high grounds or maybe biglites, some PixelPar 90s (they have weather proofing) alpha beams (they dont mind the rain if your clever) which sorts out the architectural and fx lighting but as far as band lighting goes I'm stuffed..Ideally I need a small moving head led fixture such as GLP Impression or Mac 301 but weatherproof, as well as a moving head (mac 2k ish) weatherproof..Anyone with any ideas or manufacturer ideas would be gratefully received..cheersJ
dunk_1984
You can put MAC 2k's or Robe 1200's in weatherdomes. Or Martins latest solution, the RainMAC. Which should work with Martin's LED fixtures. Robe have both the Lightdome and weathershield. http://www.robe.cz/products/category/light...Hash=3ab9bbdbb4
Smurf
Hello, We have flightdomes to hire, look like giant condoms, but they work for keeping moving heads dry, which we also stock! Good luck :P
Davyx
I would also say that domes may be a good choice. I have seen different models from different manufacturers. You can easy install inside any moving heads, scanners or why not flowers. If you plan to buy them, Showtec has a model quite cheap but very good, delivered with 2 sizes of domes. http://www.soundxplosion.nl/webshop/600px/71300.jpg
