fidelityhire
Hi all, I'm a bit of a nob here and was hoping some wise tech could offer their advice. I have a number of RCF ART310as and have found that they have a massive design flaw. The only thing securing the pot to the backplate of the speaker is one nut which after some use comes loose. with this nut undone the only thing supporting the pot is two thin strips of PCB. I have solved a crackle on two of my cabs by just tightenting this nut. On one though, boh strips of PCB have snapped in two. I need to get a replacement pot assembley but cannot find the component in RS or canford from the number on the side. Does anyone have any golden nuggets of advice. ed
Brian
Photos are always useful in situations like this. Some of us might not know the cab in question, and indeed different ages of cab may use different components, but we can probably identify the pot.
