Rob K
Hello everyone - this follows on from a previous post which unfortunately has been lost to the over-zealous pruning policy. We have a d&b system, 8 x E15 subs and 4 xmax wedges for tops, driven by QSC plx3402 amps. I've been using it entirely passively, each side of each amp driving two subs and one top, relying on internal crossovers. In an effort to improve it I've bought a crossover/controller and plan to use it with one side of each amp doing sub, and one side doing top. The sub side will drive four E15s (2 ohm load) and the top side will drive two Max15s (4 ohm load). I just wondered if anyone else has used the PLX 3402 into 2 ohms for any extended period. I have no reason to think it won't be fine, but I'm unlikely to get any full-power test time before it's out on the road. Cheers. --edited for spelling idiocy--
