phkennedy
I am able to record cues, fade times etc. The problem is when I go to RUN the cues, I have no intensity or Dimmer value in any of my cues. This is for both Standard Dimming channels and for moving lights with a dimmer attribute. It is as if, the grand master is down, but I have all the relevant masters up to include the Grandmaster Playback Fader 7 when in Run Mode. When I am going from one cue to another, anything plotted using the moving lights, PAN/TILT etc is changing, just not intensity, so I am recording cues right to an extent. Any ideas? Other thing is that when in RUN mode, it is not allowing me to toggle between Playback modes? If you have any ideas it would be greatly appreciated. niclights
All I can think of is that perhaps the internal jumper is set for the wing, meaning the intensity master is on PB 12 rather than 7. Does the LED blink above PB 7?

Does the LED blink above PB 7? No it does not Blink when I go to RUN mode, it is as if it is a standard Playback Fader. This is a brand new desk? IS the desk defaulted to include the Playback Wing? Also any ideas why I cannot change the toggle the run mode. -Many Thanks
niclights
I assume it doesn't blink in Program mode either? There should be no difference. It's quite possible it is set to 15 playbacks. I don't know what the default is supposed to be. An easy test might be to unfold a chase with between 11 and 15 steps and see if you can view the last cues. I'm not sure about run mode. No time to look at that now.
EmmaThompson
Hi phkennedy, It sounds like the links in the desk need changing around. If you refer to page 212 of the manual, available for download from our website, it will explain how to change them around. There are 8, and all 8 need swapping in order to change where theatre stack appears. If the LED above playback 7 starts flashing then theatrestack is functioning on playbacks 7 - 10. With Run mode, if you have theatre stack active, then you cannot switch between run modes, it will always be in Takeover Mode. This is because theatre stack changes the function of the flash keys above the theatre stack masters and they no longer work as standard flash keys. meneerknoop
I've experienced the very same problem when trying to run a theatre show on the tiger. What solves the problem is connecting pin 2 and 3 with the jumpers inside the console. Though both the manual and the text printed on the motherboard state that you have to connect 1 and 2, this is incorrect!!!! It took me hours to find out that doing the opposite of what the manual says worked for me... The 7th LED started flashing and I finally had data output! Good luck and hope to have helped desperate technicians for the future! Pablo Moderation: formatting fixed
